Sunapee update

by tomburnsjewelry on 12 August 2010

Wow, is this fun! The Sunapee show is raging along. It’s been many years since the crowd’s been this big, and I must say I’m really thrilled with the reception my jewelry’s been getting (maybe from YOU?) I just can’t help getting excited when I see a new piece on someone, and they’re beaming and I’m beaming, and it all makes sense. Oh yeah, THAT’S why I made that piece. THAT’S the person I made it for! But what’s going on here? Why is the attendance so up? Why are more of you buying a piece of my jewelry, when we all know we’re being more careful with our spending? It sure feels great, and maybe validates the effort we craftspeople have been putting in all along. I’ve got some awesome new pieces to bring to the booth for this second weekend, and I hope that if I haven’t seen you yet this week I will see you this weekend. Thanks so much for coming out and liking my new work!

Jewely is amazing - which doesn’t even describe it well enough :-).

My daughter Alexis purchased a piece and she just can’t stop looking at it and sharing it with our friends and family here in New Hampshire.

We are visiting from So Cal and loved the Faire today.  It was fun talking with Tom and am happy Brian you have talked him into selling 10 pieces a month via internet.  Since we live so far - it’ll be the only way to purchase.

Wonder will you be making any bracelets?

I sent an email under seperate cover and look forward to hearing from you.  Will you be creating an email list to advise when new pieces are available via internet?

What a great fair this year. It is so wonderful to  see Tom (now my good friend, just from being a customer and fan). Of course I got several pieces (Tom sometimes thinks he can shut me off, but I set him straight) Then I had the opportunity to assist him on Sunday and had such a terrific time. What a treat to work with Tom and spend the day looking at his incredible stones and designs and meeting tons of fantastic people. The people that attend the fair are the best!
