Sunapee Update — AUGUST 6

by tomburnsjewelry on 6 August 2009

Hey everybody. We wanted to give you a quick update of the week so far here in New Hampshire. In a word, it’s been GREAT. We’ve had great weather (pretty much the only nice week all summer), we’ve seen some great people, and have gotten some great feedback on our new stones and pieces. Old friends, and new jewelry… what could be better?

If you went to the show, and stopped by the booth, we’d love to have you leave a comment on this post. It’ll give us a good idea of how the website’s working so far (it’s still new itself), and will give us a good feel for what you’re up to. So please, SPEAK UP!

Alright, I’ll be the first one on here… hopefully it’ll prompt some others. I didn’t make it out to the Sunapee show this year (unfortunately), but I wish I could have been there, and I heard I was missed.

Sweating out the summer in Colorado, some New Hampshire lake-swimming sure does sound nice right about now!

I feared that I would not be able to go, but as soon as I returned from a conference in LasVegas I headed directly to the craft fair. I only had a few hours and I only made it to booth 8. Spent the majority of time with Tom and tried on most everything. He is exceptional. Some pieces capture you right away, but I would encourage everyone to try on a few, sometimes one that might not get your attention on the board can come to life when on your neck. I bought 4 pieces (Tom had to shut me off) I hope to get to the show in Manchester.

VICTORIA: Ha. Love the story, Victoria. Thanks for sharing. We’re real glad you stopped by.

We don’t like to cut people off normally, but you have to save some jewelry for everyone else!

See you in beautiful Manchester!
